「be tied up (with)~」

共著者に論文が書けたので、目を通して欲しいとメールしたところ、下記のようなメールが返ってきました。

I am tied up tonight and in clinic all day tomorrow, but

I try to take a look at these revision on Tuesday.

ここで使用されている「be tied up」は「（めちゃくちゃ）忙しくて手が離せない」という意味です。

他の例文としては、

A: Can you make time for me tomorrow morning?

B: I am sorry but I can`t.

    I will be tied up all day tomorrow.

Busyに頼りがちですが、be tied upを今度から使ってみようと思います。
